If you followed the Drone Smackdown on Twitter, you already know the results. For the rest of you, victory is mine. With the help of two minor-aged children, who will go nameless, we launched successful cyber attacks on the other drones---and won the chalice of victory. Because of the inane decision of the FAA to keep the Smack down out of the Washington Flight Restricted Zone, the event was not open to the public, and the only protesters were joking ones, bearing this sign:

The official results:
  • Round I: Wittes v. Rosenzweig --- won by Wittes
  • Round II: Beauheim v. Love --- won by Beauheim
  • Round III: Wittes v. Procter --- won by Wittes
  • Round IV: Wittes v. Beauheim --- won by Wittes
All of us who participated in the Smackdown extend our thanks to our gracious hosts, who stepped up to the plate when the FAA left the Smackdown homeless. And special thanks as well to Shane Harris, who served as a fair and good-humored judge. I will be posting video of the event shortly, and a very lengthy post later this evening about our cyber attacks. Stay tuned.
