Motions Hearing in Al-Nashiri: October 24 Session
And we're back . . . to another day of CCTV-broadcasted hearings in the military commission case of United States v. Al-Nashiri.
At Guantanamo, there are some lingering concerns about Hurricane Sandy; still, my sense is that our proceedings will go forward at 9 a.m., as scheduled. Assuming they do, the first order of business will be an on-the-record chat between Judge Pohl and the accused, regarding the latter's right to attend pre-trial sessions in person.
