Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) has introduced a Senate resolution under the War Powers Resolution directing "the President to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any part of its government or military" within 30 days of the enactment of the resolution. The resolution asserts that neither the 2001 nor the 2002 Authorizations for the Use of Military Force "serve as a specific statutory authorization for war against Iran, and neither authorize any such action." The resolution can be found here and below.
