President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the D.C. Circuit to succeed Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, reports the Washington Post.

Trump pardoned two men from Oregon who were charged with arson in 2016, according to the New York Times. Dwight and Steven Hammond gained national attention when their arrest inspired the 41-day occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
