Two former business associates of Michael Flynn, President Trump’s first national security adviser, have been indicted on charges connected with their efforts to lobby the U.S. to extradite dissent cleric Fethullah Gulen back to his native Turkey, reports the Washington Post.

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has released two reports detailing the Internet Research Agency’s trolling activities during the 2016 presidential election, the Post writes.

Trump has named Mick Mulvaney as acting chief of staff, says NPR. Mulvaney is currently head of the Office for Management and Budget.

The cease-fire in the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah is expected to go into effect on Tuesday after a brief delay, reports the BBC. Yemen’s government and the Houthi rebel group agreed to the cease-fire last Thursday.

U.S. officials met with representatives of the Afghan Taliban on Monday in the United Arab Emirates as part of an effort to establish a basis for future peace negotiations, according to a Taliban spokesman. Reuters has more.
