Jason Smith

Dr. Jason Smith is a professor at the National War College, where he teaches strategy, U.S. politics, civil-military relations, and national security decision-making. A dual-service veteran and former Strategic Advisor to the Commandant of the Coast Guard, he has led combat and emergency response missions and served in senior roles at the National Security Council and in the U.S. Senate, shaping maritime and security policy at the highest levels.
