J.B. Branch

J.B. Branch is the Big Tech accountability advocate at Public Citizen, leading work on AI accountability, privacy, tech safety, platform oversight, and child online protections. A nationally recognized expert on AI governance and civil liberties, he has advised national and international lawmakers. J.B. previously advised the Department of Justice and helped build Louisiana’s automated expungement system. He holds degrees from Penn State, Georgetown Law, and Harvard Kennedy School.
