Jayita Sarkar

Jayita Sarkar is Professor of Global History of Inequalities at the University of Glasgow and author of the award-winning book "Ploughshares and Swords" (Cornell University Press, 2022). She is currently finishing her next book, "Atomic Capitalism" (Princeton University Press, under contract). She is a British Academy Global Innovation Fellow for 2024-25 at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC.
