Jeffrey Vagle

Jeffrey Vagle is an Assistant Professor of Law with the Georgia State University College of Law. His scholarship and teaching focuses on privacy, cybersecurity, and technology and society. He is an affiliate scholar with the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School and is affiliated faculty with Georgia State University’s Evidence-Based Cybersecurity Research Group. Prior to joining the GSU College of Law, Professor Vagle was a lecturer in law and executive director of the Center for Technology, Innovation, and Competition at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Prior to that, Professor Vagle practiced in the Privacy and Data Protection Practice Group of the Philadelphia offices of Pepper Hamilton LLP. Professor Vagle received a J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, with distinction in mathematics from Boston University.
