Kristine Beckerle
Kristine Beckerle is a human rights lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience investigating international law violations and advocating for redress alongside activists in the Middle East, including for abuse carried out by the US military. She was the Cover-Lowenstein Fellow in International Human Rights Law and a Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School between 2021 and 2023, focusing on reparations for mass violations during war. The author is part of an international group of academics and practitioners working on a project examining reparation for civilians during armed conflict.
