Michael Goodyear

Michael P. Goodyear is an Associate Professor at New York Law School. His research explores how copyright, trademark, and other rights and liabilities evolve in response to technological and cultural change, and how this in turn affects human expression and identity. Before joining academia, Michael practiced at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he represented leading social media and e-commerce platforms on intellectual property and related liability risks for user-generated content.
