Mark Stout

Mark Stout is a scholar-practitioner in intelligence history and security studies. He has worked as an analyst or manager of analysts for the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research and the Central Intelligence Agency. He has taught at Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Sciences, Advanced Academic Programs, among other places. His book “World War I and the Foundations of American Intelligence” was published by the University Press of Kansas in 2023.
