Orde F. Kittrie

Orde F. Kittrie is a law school professor and director of the Program on International Lawfare and Security at Arizona State University. He is also a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. From 2019 to 2025, Kittrie served as a part-time adviser on international lawfare issues to the Director of Legal Affairs for NATO's Supreme Allied Commander. Prior to entering academia, Kittrie served in the U.S. State Department for over a decade in various legal and policy positions. Kittrie is the author of Lawfare: Law as a Weapon of War (Oxford University Press, 2016).
