Todd Johannessen

Todd Johannessen retired from the Central Intelligence Agency where he served for 26 years covering analysis and operations in Europe, South Asia, Counterterrorism, and leading large strategic human capital programs. He served twice in Europe. Since retiring he has served as a federal consultant and a professional lecturer at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.  He was an early member and leader in ANGLE with Tracey Ballard and Julia Curlee. He was named an Out in National Security (ONS) Out Leader in 2023 for his dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ issues.
