Celebrating the Towers Themselves
Unaccustomed as I am to praising the New York Times opinion pages for their handling of matters related to counterterrorism, my hat is off to them today for running as Op-Art this beautiful image, entitled "Exposure," by photographer Annie Leibovitz--the towers as I will always remember them. I think it is probably not fair use under copyright law for me to repost the image here. But check it out.

And if you want to include in your 9/11 remembrance the towers themselves, watching this remarkable movie--which never mentions September 11--is not a bad way to do it.
