Department of Defense Releases Cyber Workforce Strategy, 2023–2027

On Mar. 9, the Department of Defense released its Cyber Workforce Strategy, a five-year roadmap to address increasingly specialized staffing needs. The strategy is structured around four pillars to assess and enhance human capital: improve capability testing, streamline talent management, foster diversity and inclusion, and encourage collaborations and partnerships.
Publication of the Cyber Workforce Strategy comes one week after the White House released the National Cybersecurity Strategy. Find Lawfare’s overview of the Biden administration’s recommendations here.
