Durham Grand Jury Indicts Lawyer Michael Sussmann
The indictment alleges that Sussmann lied about his client in a 2016 meeting about former President Trump and Russia.
On Sept. 16, a grand jury working with the office of Special Counsel John Durham indicted lawyer Michael Sussmann on a charge of making false statements to the FBI during the 2016 presidential election. The indictment alleges that Sussmann lied about his client in a 2016 meeting with an FBI official about former President Trump and Russia. Sussmann is an attorney at Perkins Coie, a law firm with ties to the Democratic Party.
