Earlier this month, the Trump administration released its National Security Strategy, which the president described as a “roadmap to ensure that America remains the greatest and most successful nation in human history.”

On Dec. 11 at 10 am ET, Lawfare Editor in Chief Benjamin Wittes will sit down with Director of Foreign and Defense Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute Kori Schake, Lawfare Senior Editor Scott Anderson, and director of the Warfare, Irregular Threats, and Terrorism Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies Daniel Byman to discuss the strategy.

Benjamin Wittes is editor in chief of Lawfare and a Senior Fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution. He is the author of several books.
Kori Schake leads the foreign and defense policy team at the American Enterprise Institute. Her book The State and the Soldier: a History of Civil-Military Relations in the United States comes out October 16th.
Scott R. Anderson is a fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution and a Senior Fellow in the National Security Law Program at Columbia Law School. He previously served as an Attorney-Adviser in the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State and as the legal advisor for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq.
Daniel Byman is a professor in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and the director of the Warfare, Irregular Threats, and Terrorism Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.
