Fred Kaplan joined me this week at the Hoover Book Soiree for a terrific discussion of his new book, Dark Territory: The Secret History of Cyber War:

It's a great discussion, before a live audience, of a book that does a remarkable job of tracing the history of cybersecurity: both the offensive opportunities and the defensive perils. The discussion covered a lot of ground: movies that had susprisingly big impacts on the way cybersecurity developed, the bureaucratic history of offense and defense, and where cyber fits into the wars of the future.
