The House Judiciary Committee voted to authorize its chairman, Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), to subpoena Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s full report and the underlying evidence from the Justice Department, the New York Times reports. The authorization also included subpoenas for five former administration officials who Democrats said are relevant to an ongoing committee investigation. Nadler said he would wait to issue the subpoenas, giving Attorney General Bill Barr time to accommodate the committee’s requests.
The Secret Service arrested a woman from China at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club who was carrying four cellphones and a thumb drive containing malware, according to the Times. Lawfare shared the criminal complaint and affidavit.
