President Donald Trump announced that he would designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist organization, the New York Times reports.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen resigned on Sunday, according to the Washington Post. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan will serve as acting secretary pending Nielsen’s permanent replacement.
