Trump Files Lawsuit Against Michael Cohen in Florida

The former president is seeking $500 million in damages from Cohen.

On April 12, former President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against his former attorney, Michael Cohen, in the Miami Division of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Court records indicate that Trump is seeking $500 million in damages for alleged “breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion, and breaches of contract” while Cohen served as counsel to the former president.
