The Department of Defense Office of Inspector General released a whistleblower reprisal report on Col. Yevgeny Vindman. In his initial complaint, Vindman alleged that various Trump administration officials, including former President Trump and National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, took actions against him during his tenure at the National Security Council. These actions, the complaint alleged, were the result of Vindman and his brother’s whistleblowing. The inspector general’s latest report found that Vindman “was the subject of unfavorable personnel actions from administration officials” due to his whistleblowing.
