Speaking of Gunpowder and Lead. . .
. . . I've been meaning---ever since I plugged Caitlin Fitz Gerald's project, Clausewitz for Kids---to say a few words about this blog, as it might be of interest to Lawfare types. Gunpowder and Lead---a blog on small arms, international affairs, and security---was brought to my attention recently by Wells, and I was surprised and delighted to find that it was the brainchild of one Diana Wueger.

. . Diana used to work at the development office at Brookings, though her heart lay in security issues concerning small arms. (She is now a research assistant at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterrey, CA.) She had always been an active Twitter presence, and she has collected around the site she has built a group of very interesting, thoughtful, and mostly younger folks interested in security issues--people whom she seems to have collected through Twitter. It's an impressive project and very worth checking out.
