The FBI sent an investigator posed as a research assistant to Professor Stefan Halper to question George Papadopoulos about the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia in September 2016, according to the New York Times.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler has given Attorney General Barr until 9 a.m. Monday to comply with a House subpoena for evidence underlying the Mueller report, says Politico. Nadler has said that he will hold Barr in contempt of Congress if the attorney general does not comply with the request.

Three Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee are seeking documents from the NRA to evaluate possibly financial crimes in the wake of leadership turmoil and accusations of blackmail, reported the Washington Post. The senators are looking into allegations of extortion, tax fraud and other financial misconduct.
